One of the consequences of Covid-19 is that companies now realise having their employees work from home is a viable option. The public perception is that this 'new norm' will have have an impact on demand for office space globally going forward.
However, according to our Deputy Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, Nabeel Hussain, it is still too early to determine any lasting changes in the KL office landscape despite the magnitude of the pandemic. The notion that office demand will prove to be resilient is also reflected in the results of a recent Savills survey on office space usage.
